Item Description
Figural 7.75" tall painted composition bank in the shape of a bomb. W.H. Long Co., early 1940s. Flat base has Long label w/"Bomb Bank" name and patents number while side has additional paper label w/"Bomb Bank" name and "Bomb The Japs From Your Own Home!" text, w/additional text noting that notes that when filled, "This Bank Will Hold $18.75 In Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters And Half-Dollars, Which Is The Price Of A $25.00 War Bond." One bomb fin has .25" surface/tip flake and side of bank has .25" shallow indent. Bank o/w appears unused. VF overall. Mark Treitel Collection.
