Item Description
16-3/8x28" full, uncut box proof sheet w/printer's color bars and notations. Proof is for Colonial Scarab box from Mattel's popular 1978 "Battlestar Galactica" toyline (see original art for this box, item #2045 and AFA graded example, item #2047) and features art by Otto Kuhni as well as photo images of the toy itself (and others in the "Battlestar Galactica" line). Some scattered margin/corner tip wear but VF overall. Rare and a great piece to frame. In our last auction we sold box proofs for the Cylon Raider for $3,119 and the Colonial Viper for $2,486. This and the following proof (item #2048) are the final two proofs provided by our consignor. From the Kuhni Estate.
