Item Description
2.5" dia. button w/o cello covering as produced. Issued c. 1967 to promote the Los Angeles, CA concert venue Kaleidoscope w/"The Kaleidoscope Is Turning On" rim text surrounding psychedelic design which matches the design on the very first Kaleidoscope concert poster (a series of rare circular posters for this venue). The only difference between design on this button and the matching poster is the fact that the group names and show times are not printed on the center area. Center has repeated circular design spelling out "Kaleidoscope." The poster w/matching design was for April 14-16, 1967 concerts featuring The Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane. Rim has some scattered tiny rubs/nicks and still VF overall. Striking design. Rare and just the second we've offered.
