Item Description
14x35.75" insert poster for the original release of the 1958 Columbia Pictures Fantasy Adventure film directed by Nathan H, Juran and starring Kerwin Mathews, Torin Thatcher, Kathryn Grant, Richard Eyer and Alec Mango. This was the first of three Sinbad feature films from Columbia, all three were conceptualized by Ray Harryhausen who used a full color widescreen stop-motion animation technique he created called Dynamation. Poster features film's cast as well as a number of Harryhausen creations - the cyclops, dragon and skeleton warrior as well as childlike genie Barani. Poster has four mostly horizontal fold lines and shows moderate wear including color touch-up to 1x1.25" area of Sinbad's hand, showing him holding shrunken princess. Pin holes at corners w/some moisture staining along top margin. VG/Fine.
