Item Description
1.75" with W&H paper. Fabulous cartoon of shriner in tuxedo and fez using reins to steer his  alligator from the "Morocco Temple" ( founded 1888) in Jacksonville, Florida to Washington for the 1900 Imperial Session attended by 82 temples who marched in a parade reviewed by President McKinley. Button slogans are "From The Hot Sands Of Florida/Bound For Washington". One of only five known to us and among the very best golden age non-political buttons. Couple of barely seen tiny gray gots on extreme edge. High gloss and Exc.
