Item Description
1.75" with W&H paper. A border of flames surrounds a skull with text "Good Everywhere" and text naming event "Festival Of Fire" held at the "Exposition Bldg. Minneapolis, Sept. 5-10, 1898". Event was in conjunction with state fair and inspired by the recent victory over Spain. There were huge G.A.R. and military parades, war artifacts from Santiago, Cuba and Cavite, Philippines were sent to the city for display and the "Festival of Fire" was in reality a massive fireworks display. Rare and first we've offered. Exc. displaying Mint.
