14x36" insert poster for the original release of the 1954 Warner Bros. Sci-Fi monster movie about an invasion of giant ants directed by Gordon Douglas and starring James Whitmore, Edmund Gwenn, Joan Weldon and James Arness. "Them!" is one of the first of the 1950s "nuclear monster" films, and the first "big bug" feature. Poster features classic image of giant ant w/screaming woman in its pinchers. Poster has three horizontal folds as issued w/addition horizontal fold just below top fold. Pin holes at corners and top center margin w/some scattered margin wear including some .25" tears and 4.25" streak of moisture staining along center left margin. .25" tear at top left, beside "A Horror-Horde" promotional text. Fine overall.
