Item Description
2.75x3.75" to 2.5x5.25". 1880. Included are: "Garfield Heading For The White House" w/cartoon of candidate whipping a mule pulling a boat at right w/White House in background, reverse has advertising for an ancestor of the comic book (reverse has visible surface paper lifts and minor toning, front remains clean, Fine); pair of "Curtis Davis & Co. Soap Manufacturers" trade cards each featuring candidate portrait (both have minor corner wear and moderate even age toning, VF); American flag design w/Garfield's portrait in the canton advertising "Gill's Art Store" (blank back, cluster of tiny light brown pin point dots of stain in cream field just left of portrait, VF) and Hancock die-cut rebus card featuring a rooster on a hand holding a card reading "The Next President" (light brown toning throughout and remnants of black paper on reverse from album mounting, VG).
