Item Description
10.75x15-7/8" thin artboard has pen and ink original at by Eufronio Reyes Cruz for "G.I. Combat" #228, published in April 1980 by DC Comics. Title page art for "The 21st Hostage" story by Robert Kanigher. Page features four panels showing OSS (Wartime Office of Strategic Services) meeting, where Agent Raven appears, seemingly back from the dead after a dangerous mission, only to shoot and kill OSS Control. Artboard has handwritten title, issue number and publication month. Margins have some editorial numbers/notations and back has two 1981 DC copyright stamps. Artboard is evenly aged. Bottom corners have corner creases and top center margin has strip of tape staining, but o/w art remains clean and VF overall.
