Item Description
9.5" tall bonded-porcelain statue shows Ringo Starr mid-stride, traversing Abbey Road, as he appeared on the classic cover to the 1969 album of the same name. Produced by Gartlan USA, Inc. and ©1996 Monteco BV/Roccabella, Inc. Marked "Artist Proof" on foil sticker on underside, this was part of a limited edition of 1,000, w/just 250 being designated as Artist Proofs. All were approved by Ringo himself and the original issue price was $600. They quickly sold out. Wonderfully detailed, statue captures Ringo's likeness perfectly. Base has 1x3.25" cardstock attachment that Ringo has hand-signed in black felt tip pen, adding his distinctive star signature sketch. NM.
