Item Description
Lot of three 14.5x23.75" to 16-1/8x21.25" multi-layer salesman sample calendars, each featuring large photo of prominent athlete of the day. These include one of the greatest athletes of all time - Jim Thorpe as well as champion polo player Devereux Milburn and early professional wrestler Frank Gotch. All bear same manufacturer name - The Thos. D. Murphy Co. of Red Oak, IA, "The Birthplace Of Art Calendars." Some lt. aging and corner tip wear but VF/Exc. overall. Great display pieces.
