Item Description
Wilson Official Size 1001 Penn State model football (as noted by "Penn State" name stamped on bottom front panel which has been signed underneath in black felt tip pen by Joe Paterno (1926-2012), who became assistant coach at Penn State in 1950 before being promoted to associate coach in June 1964. He was promoted to head coach in Feb. 1966 where he remained as head coach of Penn State Nittany Lions until 2011, achieving 409 victories, making him the most victorious coach in NCAA FBS history, w/a Bowl record of 24-12-1 and two championships (1982, 1986). Paterno signed ball "To Jon - All The Best - Joe Paterno." Ball shows wear from use and Paterno's signature has faded w/age. but remains legible. Fine overall. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
