Item Description
12-3/8x19-3/8" on thin coated card stock. Poster advertises an "Ozzy Osbourne" concert "With Special Guest UFO Also Appearing Starfighters" on "Thursday, February 11, 1982" at "Market Square Arena" in Indianapolis, IN. Additional text includes headline "Just When You Thought It Was Safe To Go Back To A Concert..." and "Eating Before Concert Not Recommended." Tape stains and surface paper lifts on reverse corners and r/l center that do not show through on front. Bottom left corner has s than 1.5" crease and there are two horizontal creases at the extreme top margin. Otherwise moderate handling wear and three pin point surface abrasions in the red field just left of image. Technically VG by displays Fine w/vivid colors. Only 12 shows before this date Ozzy bit the head off a bat during a performance in Des Moines, IA and five shows after this date Ozzy would be arrested for urinating on the Alamo before the concert in San Antonio. Additionally this show was among the last for legendary heavy-metal guitarist Randy Rhoads who perished in a plane crash in Leesburg, FL on March 19. A scarce and historic poster from a legendary tour even by the standards of the former Black Sabbath front man.
