Item Description
Vintage 5.5x7" fan photo shows Silverheels in his most famous role as The Lone Ranger's sidekick Tonto. These photos were handed out by Silverheels at personal appearances at rodeos, fairs, etc. 1950s-1960s. Photo has printed inscription reading "I'll Be Seeing You In 'Indian Paint' Jay Silverheels" and has been signed "Tonto" in blue ink at top right, w/Silverheels adding his "Tonto" name symbol. Photo shows moderate handling wear, w/7" crease running diagonally just left of center and 1-7/8" corner crease at bottom right. Center has lt. 1.25" streak of staining from 1x1.25" label/sticker stain on back. Fine overall. Signature displays VF. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
