Item Description
11x14". Signed at bottom left "To My Good Friend Perrin Galpin From Herbert Hoover" in black fountain pen ink. Galpin was an aide during Hoover's Presidency, the two having met while serving in Belgian food relief after World War I. Image is mounted to thick cardboard and has visible surface wear from handling. Fine. Inscription is affected by scattered tiny pin point dots of light brown toning. Signature is bold and clear. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA/LOA.
