Young Chairman Of The Board C&O Railway Co." stating in part "Even If The Railroads Are Publicly Owned, As I Think They Should Be, I Should Favor The Kind Of Competition That You Want In The Matter Of The Running Time Of Freight Trains." Letter concludes "More Power To You! It Means More food For The Hungry." Boldly signed "Norman Thomas". Two vertical and one horizontal mailing folds. Faint pink notation in upper right margin and stamp "15304 Sep 8 1947" at top right. Handling wear along top edge and minor age toning. VF. Come w/Hake's COA and JSA/COA.
