7x9". Typed from "Northampton, Mass., May 22, 1923" on "The Vice President's Chamber/Washington" stationery. Coolidge gracefully rejects an invitation to speak in Connecticut. Four horizontal folds two from mailing, one through center and one in bottom margin affecting the lower loop of the "G" in "Coolidge". Handling wear and moderate toning. Fine. Signature is large, crisp and remains extremely clean, Exc. A strong pre-presidential Coolidge signature. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA/LOA.
