Item Description
5.5x30x2.75" cardboard box w/die-cut display lid that has illustration of assembled rifle and "John Payne As Vint Bonner On Restless Gun On Nationwide TV." Text also notes "50 Shot Repeater Cap Firing Action! It Smokes!" Esquire Novelty Corp., ©1958 Window Glen Productions Co. Front of box has illustrations of rifle in various stages w/text including "It's A Rifle-Gun! It's A Long-Barreled Cap Pistol! It's A Cap Pistol With Automatic Break-Open Barrel! It's A Carbine!" Display lid has been punched and box has scattered dust soiling and corner tip/edge wear. Fine overall. 9" long die-cast repeater w/nickel finish, stag grips w/metal horsehead medallions and raised "Restless Gun" name on frame comes w/detachable plastic stock (w/tightening knob) and threaded metal screw-in barrel extension. 28" long when fully assembled. Gun has some pinpoint corrosion around cylinder area and interior cap-firing area shows moderate aging/corrosion but gun still works. Fine overall. Stock is Exc. Barrel extension has some lt. aging to finish but is o/w VF. Rare to find complete.
