Item Description
1.25x1.5" metal case watch features dial w/nice graphics in center of Tom Mix on rearing Tony and twirling large lasso that connects to second hand disc at bottom w/steerhead design. Ingersoll, 1935. This watch was issued w/either metal or leather bands (just like Ingersoll Mickey Mouse watches of the period) and both versions are equally rare. This is leather band version, and each band has original metal attachments w/Mix portrait. Attachments show trace wear and are VF overall. Bands show wear from use and bottom band has had tip trimmed/rounded but is complete w/five holes as issued. VG. Crystal remains clear and case retains much luster. VF. Dial is bright and clean w/strong image. Exc. Running. Great design and one of the rarest character watches, this one of just a few we've offered in our 51 years.
