Item Description
15/16" with photo of Brace Beemer wearing hat, mask, vest and crossed gun belts portraying The Lone Ranger seated on Silver. The image is identical to that shown on a 1933 exhibit card. Button was almost certainly made between April and May 1933 while Beemer, also the station manager, voiced the title role on Detroit radio station WXYZ. The maker's name Parisian Novelty Co., Chicago appears on the bottom curl. Inscriptions reads "Hi-Yo Silver!" and "The Lone Ranger." A similar 1.25" button exists with the same slogan but a different photo. Exc. and displaying glossy Mint. Three seen in our 51 years. Rare.
