Item Description
2.25" litho tin button but done in two pieces tin front and metal reverse w/a bar pin. The button promotes "Lithello" an advance which the Green Duck company promoted as a new "Celluloid Like Process". Given the slogan "Say Hey, Say Aloha, Say Lithello", it seems this is a marketing promotional button for the new process. One other opinion we've heard is that this could be related to a golf tournament that Mays participated in in Hawaii. The one other we know of sold for $266 in Hakes Auction #218. Exc.
