Item Description
Original cardboard box w/nicely illustrated lid label contains 7.25" long tin cart (w/gold flashing on exterior) and large tin litho wheels depicting pair of tumbling clowns attached to flocked tin mule w/original string tail and reins held by tin litho clown driver who wears fabric shirt and painted tin pants. Clown's tin litho hat is complete w/large tassel as issued. Lehman, c. 1905. Box has raised Lehmann symbol on one side and box and label are evenly aged. Box has corner crease on underside, but o/w shows very little wear. High grade example of this toy and much nicer than typically found. Toy shows wear on rims of wheels. Has built in key and works well. Toy and box are both VF overall.
