Item Description
7" long tin litho w/built-in key. Made in Germany by Lehmann, 1920s. Toy has numerous markings w/"Dare Devil" name as well as "Made In Germany" on top of cart while back of cart has "Marke 1881 Lehmann" and symbol. Patent dates appear on the front of the cart including German Jan. 1907 and US Dec. 1913, likely patent dates for the internal wind-up mechanism. Wheels are also marked "Schultz And Lehmann." When wound, toy travels along while driver moves up and down. Zebra has original ears. Toy has lt. scattered paint nicks/scratches but remains glossy and VF overall.
