Item Description
7.5" long w/original horizontal bar pin at top on reverse. Scattered light brown dots of age toning and a horizontal fold at center affecting the graphic. VF. The Letter Carriers were the first postal employees to unionize forming in Aug. of 1889. This ribbon was produced for the "First Annual Convention" held in "Boston Aug. 13, 14, 15 1890" on the one year anniversary of the unions creation. With 4600 members in 1890 scattered across the US this ribbon was produced in small quantities.
