Item Description
9.5x12" stiff artboard has 1.25x6" painted design of three interlocking belt segments at center. c. 1953. Center art image of Roy Rogers comes w/matching cut out printed photo. Left segment shows Roy on Trigger w/right image showing Dale Evans and Roy. No text on the board but a prototype for Post's Cereals, for a series of inserts similar to the "Western Medals," designed to be collected and assembled to form complete belt. See similar original art for comic character belt, item #2226. Artboard has some lt. scattered wear but art remains clean and NM. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
