Item Description
7/8" w/remnant of W&H back paper. High contrast real photo portrait of the Wisconsin Progressive Republican. Minor surface wear in reflected light. Exc. displaying Mint. This button likely dates from 1912 when LaFollette attempted to rally progressive elements of the GOP in 1912 but failed to gain much traction w/most of his supporters ultimately supporting Teddy Roosevelt at the contentious GOP convention that ultimately nominated Taft.
