Item Description
Complete set of ten 1-1/8" wide by 1-7/8" tall die-cut tin litho, each marked on base "One Of A Series Of Famous Cartoon Characters. Look For Others In Cracker Jack." c. 1930s. Each standee has full color Chicago Tribune character image on front including - Smitty, Herby, Harold Teen, Chester Gump, Perry Winkle, Uncle Walt, Skeexiz, Little Orphan Annie, Moon Mullins and Kayo. Each has had base bent as designed. Some scattered rim wear w/fronts evenly aged, a few having trace oxidation Fine to VF. Rarely found complete as a set.
