Item Description
5x7.5" 16-page manual comes w/original "Cream Of Wheat" mailing envelope. ©1936 J.F.D. Co. Envelope is moderately tanned, small inked date. Fine. Cover features classic Buck Rogers illustration while inside front cover features photo of the radio Buck and Wilma Deering. Other contents include "Secrets Of The Solar Scouts," information on becoming a spaceship commander, six pages of illustrations of a total of 18 different premiums. These include lead figures, Repeller Ray gun, pocketknife, Daisy pistol and holster, patch, uniform, etc. Two-page insert for signing up club members and ordering the Buck Rogers premiums still intact at center spread. First page includes illustration of commander badge which was obtained by signing up three new club members. This insert paper is almost always missing. "My Record Of Membership" inside back cover w/designated lines for name/address, but all remains unused. Cover has just the slightest scattered trace of dust soiling. Contents are totally clean. VF/Exc. Rarely found nicer and scarce w/envelope.
