Box has stamped side panel noting costume as "Large (12 To 14)" and box lid shows just lt. scattered corner tip wear w/some minor creases at corners. Box displays VF. Rayon costume consists of shirt, cape and pants and is missing vinyl belt w/metal buckle. Shirt has silk-screened "S" chest emblem and along front bottom edge is small image of Superman and boy wearing the Superman outfit w/"Remember - This Suit Won't Make You Fly - Only Superman Can Fly" text, a preventative warning. Shirt has moderate aging w/scattered staining and moisture staining on front. VG. Pants have even moderate aging w/a few tiny spots of staining, but are free of splits and Fine overall. Cape has some creases as folded over the decades, but is o/w NM. Comes w/7x9-3/8.25" four-page promotional comic titled "Superman's Buddy" that was issued w/costume. He puts the suit on and aspires to be Superman although he falls short. Thanks to Superman, he becomes friends w/bully. Story ends w/the boy saying "Remember Only Superman Can Fly." Scattered lt. aging spotting but high grade, Exc. example and scarce as such.
