Item Description
8.5x9" thin cardboard box w/perforated display lid contains set by Parks Plastic Company, ©1956 NCP, Inc. Box features image of Superman flying beside Krypton Rocket. Lid's perforations have been punched and lid has 1" tear at bottom right corner by lid flap. Box is evenly aged w/corner tip wear and is Fine/VF overall and still nice for display. Box is complete w/die-cut insert holding three hard plastic pieces, each about 5" long. These include - reserve fuel tank, pump unit, rocket. Tail fins of blue rocket have relief "S" emblem and "Superman" comic book title/logo plus "Krypton Rocket" name. Toy uses water as fuel and "Operates On A Real Jet Propulsion Principle." Underside has illustrated instructions and offer for extra rockets. Insert and contents are unused, though rocket has some aging and is VF. Rest of contents are NM.
