Item Description
13.75x21.75" thin cardboard window card advertising a concert at "Hillside Theatre" in "Conway, SC" on "Friday April 25." The "Big Double Attraction Package!" featured the doo-wop pioneers "The Orioles" billed as "The Nation's Top Headline Vocal Group" and R&B trumpeter "That Man Cootie Williams And His Famous Orchestra." Horizontal fold at center has been stabilized and surface paper breaks restored. Additional professional restoration to fill holes in corners and emphasize text at top. Three 1/2" vertical tears at bottom center and light corner bumps at top and bottom left. Displays VF. A scarce poster featuring the legendary Baltimore R&B combo and the trumpeter made famous in Duke Ellington's Cotton Club Orchestra.
