Item Description
The Houston Astros were established as the Houston Colt .45s and entered the NL in 1962 along w/the expansion New York Mets. The current name was adopted three years later. They played in Colt Stadium 1962-1964. Offered here are three 2.5x3-7/8" ticket stubs from the inaugural game against the San Francisco Giants, which took place May 11, 1962 in Houston, TX. Stubs are sequentially numbered Promenade Box seats and feature "Colts" crossed pistols logo and image of baseball player at bat w/catcher and umpire. Pin hole at top center of each stub, one w/small mark but o/w stubs are Exc.
