14.25x22.25" thin cardboard concert poster for Dec. 16, 1973 Christmas Show benefiting the Navy Relief Society that took place at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, CA featuring comedy Bob Hope. Printed by San Diego Poster Print, poster features photo of Hope at top left w/photo of venue at bottom right, poster utilizing split fountain technique, w/colors changing from green at top to red at center an back to green at bottom, creating nice Christmas display. Lower left has some text blacked out as printed. Poster shows moderate wear w.6" long aged tape repair to tear at left center margin edge. Scattered corner tip/margin wear w/1" strip of tape staining at top center. 1.25" tape repair to 1.5x1.5" surface paper lift at right center. Scattered surface wear. VG overall. Scarce poster.
