See introduction in #2219 for historical bkg. on this art. 15.5x20.75" thin artboard has India ink original art in two separate panels at left and right; each having an image area of 7x11". Left features "The American Eagle," a comic book superhero who first appeared in "Exciting Comics" #22 (Oct. 1941), published by Standard Comics imprint, Nedor Comics. Of the 11 scenes, American Eagle is pictured in seven of them, along w/sidekick Eaglet in four. Right features "Kara - The Jungle Princess," who first appeared in "Exciting Comics" #39 (June 1945), published by Standard Comics imprint, Nedor Comics. Of the 11 scenes, Kara is pictured in three of them. Artboards have tiny traces of aging but art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/vellum overlay w/colorful watercolor guide. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
