Item Description
5-1/8x8" on "United States Senate" stationary. Truman refers the request for a $25,000 loan for Zinc mining in Joplin, MO found on the two additional 8x10.5" pages to "Colonel John W. Snyder Vice President Defense Plants Corporation" in this letter dated "March 5, 1941." Signed boldly in black fountain pen ink at conclusion "Harry S. Truman". Documents and letter are holed at top for filing and have several staple holes at top right corner but are otherwise extremely clean. Exc. Comes w/Hake's COA and Herman Darvick LOA from "Estate Of John W. Snyder Sotheby's December 10, 2010" sale.
