Item Description
13x19" thin artboard has pen and ink original art for the cover to "Huey, Dewey, And Louie Jr, Woodchucks" #43, published by Whitman, April 1977. Art by John Carey features Huey, Dewey and Louie sleepily emerging from their tent and Chip and Dale as well as a trio of forest squirrels are repeatedly climbing up tree, jumping off and sliding down the side of the tent. Of note, one of the boys is seen wearing his Jr. Woodchucks hat. Inked title, issue number and date at top margin. Artboard has some scattered handling wear w/1" corner crease at lower left, back having some tape reinforcement added. Margins have some scattered staining, but art remain clean and would display Exc, if matted and framed. Comes w/reading copy of the comic book this art was produced for.
