Item Description
5" dia. badge w/applied fabric corn cob at bottom center. Reagan made a strong challenge to incumbent Gerald Ford for the 1976 GOP nomination but was narrowly defeated 1121 to 1078 delegates. Reagan was narrowly defeated by Ford in Iowa's inaugural first in the nation Republican caucus. This uncommon badge was worn by supporters at the 1976 GOP National Convention and remains NM.
