Item Description
The typical early Santa button is 1.25" but Wanamaker's went the extra mile and produced this 1.5" give-away for Christmas c. 1910. The button has its Bastian back paper and front shows Santa in a toy laden bi-wing airplane superimposed over their famous headquarters at Juniper and Market Streets. The only age is a tiny 1/16" indent on the reverse collet. Scarce and NM displaying Mint. Our Hake CPB book photo specimen in Auction 220 exceeded $500.
