Item Description
1.25" with a small 1/8" tear that shows little on the W&H back paper c. 1918. Santa has forsaken his reindeer and instead holds a rope which tethers his bi-wing airplane floating in the night sky. His back pack, on the left, shows a horn, drum, sailboat and doll while extending right is the end of a rifle with bayonet. Issued by "Shelmire Store" (probably on Shelmire St. in Phila.) and NM displaying Mint.
