Item Description
10.25" tall stuffed cloth doll sits upright. Columbia Toy Products, c. 1940s. ©KFS. Painted, starched linen face w/felt ears and cloth bonnet, rest of outfit is cloth w/polyester ribbon around neck. Faithful depiction of the youthful character from Popeye. Outfit is complete and all original. Comes w/booklet tag that reads "This Is An Original! 'Comic Strip' Doll... That All America Loves." List of other dolls made by this company inside, including Popeye, Olive Oyl and Wimpy among others. Doll is in choice, Exc. condition. Tag has a few scattered creases but is Fine/VF. Scarce.
