Item Description
6" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key. c. 1950s. ©KFS. Toy depicts Popeye wearing roller skates and holding plate w/can of spinach up in the air. Complete w/pipe consisting of metal rod stem and wooden bowl. Popeye wears synthetic fabric pants. Toy is missing thin rubber tread to one wheel and about half the tread to other wheel, but still works, just a bit haltingly at times, skating about while changing direction every so often. Fabric pants are evenly aged w/some scattered staining to backside. Lithographed areas remain glossy. Small paint flake to brim of hat. Lithographed areas display VF. Classic design.
