Item Description
Bill "Wee Willie" Webber (1929-2010) was an American radio and TV personality and pioneer who worked in radio and TV in the Philadelphia, PA, region for more than 50 years. Among his many jobs in broadcasting was serving as the host of the "Wee Willie Webber Colorful Cartoon Club" TV program from 1965-1975, airing various cartoons and live action shows geared towards children. This 5x7" fan photo on cardstock shows Webber in the late 1960s, posing w/studio cut-outs of two characters featured on his program - Spider-Man from the 1967-1970 animated series of the same name (though Spider-Man is shown w/bottom half of his face exposed) and Japanese live-action hero Ultraman. Photo bears Webber's facsimile signature and "Channel 17" logo and has been signed "To Scot - Will Webber" in black felt tip pen. Card has some lt. even aging and scattered handling wear. Pin holes at top corners and along center right margin. Fine/VF overall. A rare and very esoteric item for the Marvel and tokusatsu collector.
