Item Description
5.25x22x1.5" deep illustrated box contains 21" long hard plastic and tin litho space rifle manufactured by Marx, c. 1950s. Box has even lt. aging and one end is missing both inner flaps w/1" and 1.5" splits to end flap. Opposite end flap has one inner flap w/large tear and 3" split to end flap. 1/8" hole punched from inside out on main panel. Box displays Fine. Gun came w/color varieties to plastic parts - either red, blue or yellow - this gun features blue stock and red foregrip/barrel. Tin litho area of gun shows dials, gauges and rockets. Wind-up firing mechanism works and produces firing sound, but missing flint and no longer sparks. Some some tiny scattered paint nicks to tin litho areas and very minor melt marks to plastic tip but o/w Exc. Scarce w/box. See Marx Tom Corbett version #2157.
