Item Description
Two posters numbered "4" and "5" from a series w/the first 12.5x18.5" and the second 12.5x19". Both posters include "The Nation Is Counting On You" text and feature graphics by artist/illustrator Ernest Baker (1889-1975), often described as the "father" of "Time" magazine portraiture, known for over 300 "Time" covers created between 1939 and his death. Second poster has tiny imprint of "Andrew B. Graham Co. Lithographers, Washington, D.C." First poster has two 1/16" or less chips from left margin. NM. Second poster has one 3/8" hairline tear at center of top edge and very faint bottom left corner crease. Exc. Striking graphics of soldier and steaming locomotive engine.
