Item Description
A few days after JFK announced his candidacy, he was in the important primary election state of Wisconsin. 8x10" glossy photo w/hand inscribed "Ashland Wisconsin 1960" piece of tape at lower right. 3x5" paper card referencing photo reads "Ashland, Wisconsin/January 1960/Small Coffee Shop/Where We Had A/Reception Of 30 Or/40 People./John And Jackie/Kennedy, Jerry Bruno, Behind Her." Reverse of photo has NY Times stamp and pencil note "To Be Returned To Jerry Bruno." 1.25" crease and tiny nick on top corners. Fine. Hotel keys and fobs are both from rooms JFK used in Milwaukee during the primary campaign. Both show age from years of use and are 6.75" and 9.25". Hotel Schroeder key for room 1423 and Hotel Pfister key for room 417. This brass key has some dark green tarnish on the bow. Both VG. Unique artifacts from the early days of JFK's 1960 campaign which will make a handsome framed display. Jerry Bruno Collection w/Letter of Provenance & Hake's COA.
