Item Description
30.5x40.25" for the original release of the 1913 Hepworth Film short directed by Frank Wilson and starring Jack Hulcup and Violet Hopson. Wonderful stone lithography by Chorley & Pickersgill Ltd., The Electric Press of Leeds and London, England is titled "The Pursuit By Aeroplane" and shows early aircraft chasing thieves fleeing in early automobile. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted w/some minor color touch-ups along fold lines and scattered margin restoration including some tear repairs and minor edge filling. Poster has aged along central vertical fold line and shows moderate aging along top horizontal fold line. Fine overall. Early and scarce movie poster.
