Item Description
27.25x41" for the original release of the 1931 Mascot 12 chapter movie serial directed by Richard Thorpe and starring Walter Miller, Nora Lane, Dorothy Christy, Tom Santschi, Boris Karloff, Victor Potel and Arthur McLaglen. Great stone lithography features scene of man pointing to another man holding gun over dead body, as if to signal to the soldiers behind them to seize the man. Poster is for Chapter 7, "Sealed Lips." Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has scattered color touch-ups along fold lines. Margins show moderate edge wear w/scattered restoration; more moderate at bottom right corner. Center left has repair to 2" tear branching off horizontal fold line. Fine overall, but would make for nice matted and framed display.
