Item Description
First is the striking stock 1.75" design by Whitehead & Hoag introduced in 1900 and used for several years, primarily west of the Mississippi, to promote street fairs and carnivals. However, this is first seen with Carson City imprint. Regretfully, an early owner cut the final digit of the date out of the celluloid leaving a small hole. Button is otherwise NM and complete with W&H paper. Second is 2.25" with Keystone Badge, Reading, Pa. paper issued for "Carnival July 1-5, 1904". Nice color of costumed dancing couple. NM.
