Item Description
Original domestic release 27x41" poster No. 77/21-0. Due to the immense popularity of this movie, there were four different printings of this "Style A" one-sheet poster. This is a fourth printing domestic release poster, which omits the "Style 'A'" notice at bottom right and bears NSS number 77/21 w/"Star Wars" title below it. PG rating notice present. Soundtrack is mentioned in relatively small print but not the later edition produced for record stores. Poster has the appropriate NSS exhibition notice, a sharp and clear GAU and the 1977 copyright is correctly indented. No stray black lines near Luke Skywalker's belt. ©1977 20th Century Fox Film Corp. Great art by Tom Jung, featuring more preliminary design of C-3PO. These posters were released w/some folded and some rolled. Poster we are offering has been folded (three horizontal folds, one vertical) w/some pinch creases wear along fold lines w/scattered handling wear. Fine/VF overall.
