Item Description
27.75x40.75" for original release of the 1917 Triangle Kay-Bee silent film starring former Ziegfeld Follies girl Olive Thomas (1894-1920) as "A Vivacious School Girl In Palm Beach Society Who Wins The Hand Of Her Choice And Incidentally Saves Her Father From Ruin." Great stone lithography by The Otis Lithograph Co. of Cleveland, OH is titled "Her Father's Joy" and features Thomas making her father laugh by sporting a top hat and opera glasses. Originally folded, poster has been linen-mounted and has minimal color touch-ups along fold lines w/2" area of scattered restoration at center (brown area of father's coat) that blends well. Margins have had some scattered restoration, repairing a few tears. Lower left has faint 1.5x3.5" area of moisture staining to Olive's first name. This is not that noticeable and does not greatly distract. Poster still displays VF overall w/vivid color.
